At GrowFARM, we see excellence as something to strive for everyday. We define excellence as “striving to be the best you can be, in everything you do.” After all, how you do one thing is how you do everything.
We see Farm Business Owners as being able to do exactly that. Real kiwi farmers and their families are great people with goals, with desires, who can work hard and who can strive to achieve. However NZ farming operations are achieving an average Return on Investment of around 2% from their businesses. Working hard isn’t the issue – getting great results is!

We wanted to provide an environment of excellence for real kiwi farmers to learn what it takes and to go and do it, to live their dreams. That environment must combine excellence in Business Owner Thinking; in support, resources and coaching; in continual improvement and in real time business analysis systems. Excellence in decision making, in relationships and in synergising with others is also crucial. When the people are strong, the business is strong.
Time and time again we have seen Farm Business Owners change their results by taking business and personal leadership. It has been very rewarding seeing some double or triple their profit (or even increase it by 5 times), while working fewer hours and with a more meaningful focus.
